a list of love

- Really good, strong coffee that cuts my habit from 6 to 3 cups a morning.
- The "Houston, We Have Pants Off" playlist of good music that I grew up listening to.
- This lamp that I have that has a shade that looks like wood paneling.
- The fact that human anatomy is so interesting!
- Sparkly skull things
- "Star Spangled Manners" by Judith Martin. Definitely a good read.
- Having gushy time with my best friend, Caroline Rice.
- Using "the glory of love" as my excuse for everything I do.
- Metal music a lot lately
- The fact that my friend Abbey randomly invited me to go see Flyleaf with her! Totally awesome.
- Plaid skirts, gold accessories, black boots, wearing lots of black in general
- Brisk walks in the AM!
- Windex.
- Finally learning to appreciate my freckles.
- Embracing radical self-love in general! It's such a blessing to have such a fantastic life and I figure that since it's only me who leads it, I might as well love myself! It might come off as selfish or weird but I know that I'm worthy of a whole lot of lovin, especially from myself.
- "You are the one shining bright as the sun, and I'd love to turn you on if I could" being the only thing running through my mind when I see someone who makes me grin like a dumb fool.
- My job my job my job
- Leon Juicy Titties Yunioshi Butler Olin, aka my 1996 Honda Accord LX. He's so perfect even when he breaks down and I cannot wait to get his windows re-tinted and have his fluids all changed. Sometimes a little TLC is all my baby needs.
- Planning my magnificent move to the 806 with Caroline! Everything is coming together and we've begun to look at apartments and so many perfect things are happening. This is the opportunity I've been waiting and praying for and it fell right into my hands. We move next August and I'm counting down the days!
- The fact that August really isn't that far away...
- My TTU sweatpants that I bought in July. They're so comfy and they remind me of that week when I just lounged around and lol'd my way through Lubbock.
- Listening to Buddy Holly while getting ready for a night out on the town.
- The fact that "night out on the town" usually means ending up at Ihop and singing songs about cannibals.
- Hot chocolate <3
- All of my friends being dudes and therefore having almost no dramaz in my life anymore.
- The smell of text books. My endless amount of Bic Cristal Barrel blue ink pens. Pink highlighters. Loose-leaf paper. Sticky tabs. Floppy disks.
- Planning on ordering my first ever Filofax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eeeee!!!!!!!!!!
- The idea of a big elaborate camping trip in the near future

I've been in good spirits.
xoxo,
kjo.
